Ricardo Eizirik

Biography

Ricardo Eizirik (*1985 in Ribeirão Preto, Brasilien) is a composer with an extended artistic production ranging from chamber music to installation and performance works. His work focuses on themes such as the mechanization of society, failure, miscommunication and banality. He has also shown a keen interest in the historical depictions of these themes in art and often appropriates objects, sounds, texts and movements from historical sources into his work.
Ricardo Eizirik lives and work between Berlin and Zürich.
