Dakota Wayne

Biographie

Dakota Wayne is a composer of conceptual music whose work addresses the reality of musical objects beyond the purely sonic. Originally from Albany, New York, Dakota has studied in the US and Europe, holding degrees from Purchase College, University of Illinois and the Kunstuniversität Graz. He is currently pursuing studies at the Musik Akademie Basel under Johannes Kreidler. His work has been performed internationally at festivals including SALT New Music Festival, impuls, Darmstädter Ferienkurse and ZeitRäume Basel.
